A stunning lacquered tea caddy from RussiaÂ's Imperial era. The box is painted in the top and all four sides with complementary floral bouquets in a distinct Slavic style and color palette. The background is a greenish shade highlighted with an antique gold. The interior of the tea caddy is coated in the metallic finish used for tea caddies. Origin: Russia, ca. 1850.
