This is so very true. We did bathroom and kitchen repairs in our 1978 home and even with the market not so healthy, we still sold our home for a profit. I truly believe we would not have made the profit, if we didn't invest in those remodeling projects.

Surprised basement remodeling is not 100+% ROI

I am surprised a basement remodeling project does not offer a 100% or more ROI. Converting an otherwise large storage place into a large living space, possibly doubling the living area relative to a one story home, seems like the ROI would be much higher.
