Sears Hometown Stores is continuing its support for military veterans by giving away one of its stores.
You read that right: they are giving away a Sears Hometown Store.
From now until June 25, qualified military veterans can enter to win a store through the contest site, which is cleverly called "Operation Stores and Stripes." Once the "recruitment" period ends, all entrants will go through a screening process and qualified candidates will advance to the second phase of the competition. Sounds a little like boot camp.
On the Sears Hometown Stores blog, you can read a short interview with a veteran who currently owns four Sears Hometown Stores. Sounds like SHS has figured out that folks with a military background make good business owners.
