Playskool Tool Bench Recalled

Hasbro has recalled their Team Talkin' Tool Bench due to two incidents of suffocation from the plastic nails included in the bench. The Team Talkin' Tool Bench stands 20 inches high, has a red saw, a blue vice, and a yellow drill. The tools talk and make tool sounds. The toy also includes a hammer, screwdriver, screws and parts to assemble a toy plane. Hasbro is recalling 255,000 of their tool benches. They were sold at KB Toys, Wal-Mart, Toys R Us, Target, and other retailers for about $35 from October 2005 to September 2006. Consumers can download a recall form from the website or call Playskool at (800)509-9554 to arrange for return of the nails in exchange for a $50 Playskool certificate. Nails should be removed immediately because little remodelers need to be protected from small parts as they practice their homebuilding and remodeling skills.
