Titian's Venus of Urbino was one of the pieces considered for recreation in bathroom tile.

Not Your Everyday Bathroom Renovation

You can't fault artist Christoph Niemann for not being bold. Together with his wife, Lisa, Niemann attempted to recreate a pixilated version of a great work of art in his bathroom using four-by-four-inch tile. Read about his selection process and see the final result on his blog. Personally, I liked his kids' bathroom better where the bathroom tile was laid out to recreate the Berlin subway map.

Bathroom Ideas

Sometimes we just get in a paradigm and forgot that we can change anything from thinking processes to bathroom renovations. I like unique bathrooms and other rooms where uniqueness and creativity have been firmly planted.

What an incredible idea for art in the bath. Not my preference for the subject (maybe Van Gogh's the white orchard). I have never tried mosaic but now I may have to learn.

I love some of these customizations but it's not for you unless you're prepared to replace it if you have to sell.
