Look Younger by Showering?

People are willing to spend a lot of money to look younger. From high-end spa treatments to lotions and potions to at-home mechanical devices, women in particular want a way to stop or slow down the aging process. A new product called the Wellness Shower is a moisturizer, anti-aging product and shower disinfectant all in one. It filters out up to 99 percent of water’s contaminants. And because it "features a patented magnetic treatment stage that generates reduced ions to protect the skin from free radical attack," according to the company's press release, [it] aids the body in repairing damaged skin and hair and increases hydration by 115 percent." Called the "World's only anti-aging shower system," the manufacturer claims that the shower "increases hydration of skin and hair and begins the reversal of the aging process after only one shower." At a hefty price of $249, I hope to see some dramatic results. The company does offer a 90-day, money-back guarantee, so it's certainly worth a try.

If I kept showering continuously

Could I completely reverse the aging process? Can I do what Cher said and "Turn Back Time"?

How long does this thing last. Do I have to replace the magic crystals often?

249 does not seem expensive when you factor it into a a bathroom update.

Really

It can start the anti-aging process and disinfect my shower at the same time? How much younger am I supposed to look after 90 days? Everyone looks fresher after a shower, so it really seems subjective to me. Sounds like a waste of $249 with bogus claims.

Water as the essence of life

It should be noted here that the ancients used mineral enriched natural hot springs and spas to rejuvenate the body. I do not believe that it is so far fetched to believe that a company could have researched these "fountain of youth" places and come up with a similar composition to help your body maintain optimum health. I don't believe it can turn back time but it could possibly created the illusion of stopping the aging process by keeping the skin looking healthy. The price seems affordable but it does make you wonder why it is so cheap since many people put a premium on slowing down the aging process. If this product truly works, then kudos to the manufacturers. If not, well I hope you will at least smell good after the process.

FOUNTAIN OF YOUTH

09/21/2008 08:13 AM REBEL1

There is always someone marketing an exclusive ingenious way to look 21, but unfortunately God blessed us with genes that have their own time table and no creams, showers or surgeries are going to prevent that. I wonder if Ponce de Leon would think he finally found the " Shower of Youth" with this product? Probably not.
