It seems that you can become a king with as little a kingdom as a caravan. Nick Copeman, born a British commoner in 1979, did just that. As described on his Web site: "At 25, after being unemployed for several months and failing to follow in his father's footsteps into the wheat-based snack industry, he changed his name by deed poll to HM King Nicholas and founded a new empire from his royal seat—a caravan just outside Sheringham, Norfolk." Originally done as a bet, the prank escalated and now HM King Nicholas rules The Copeman Empire from his caravan. The King sells peerages on his Web site. Does anyone have a caravan I could buy?
