Grill elements can get damaged over time. Replacing certain parts and giving the grill a good cleaning will prepare it for the season to come.
Step 1: Turn off the propane.
First, be sure the propane tank is turned off. The propane tank should always be turned off when the grill is not in use.

Paint scraper (Buy) Shop vacuum (Buy)
Sponge (Buy)
Always detach the propane tank from the grill before attempting disassembly or repair. Follow the specific instructions and warnings in the product manual that came with your specific grill. Wear gloves and protective eye wear when scraping.
