A technique sometimes used to influence a large sale, that consists of brushing out a sample of paint onto a slab of wood or other material so the customer can see how the finished job will look.

Brushes
Brushes are small blocks of electrically conductive carbon pressed down by springs to conduct current to a power tool. Brushes gradually wear down and must be replaced. Most industrial tools are designed to allow for easy brush inspection and replacement. Other tools require shop service for brush replacement.
Bubbler
Drinking faucet with flow-regulated push-button self-closing valve. Also called a water fountain.
Bubbles
Air bubbles in a drying paint film caused by excessive brushing during application or by overvigorous mixing that results in air entrapment.
Buck
Frame for a door, usually made of metal, into which the finished door fits.
